Fill the house with the aroma of honey cake

The traditional desert of Rosh Hashanah is Honey Cake. Another way to ensure the year is off to a sweets start. 

The best honey cake is moist, delicious, not too heavy.. and yes.. it can be beautiful. We also made sure it's real easy. See our instruction below!



In the box:

  • Honeycomb Mold (please wash thoroughly before use)

Dry ingredients: 

  • 1 ¾ cups Flour

  • ¼ cup Sugar

  • ½ cup Brown Sugar

  • 1 tbsp Baking Powder

  • 1 tsp Baking Soda

  • ½ tsp instant coffee

  • ¼ tsp salt

Wet ingredients

  • 2 Eggs (whisked)

  • ½ cup Honey

  • ½ cup Oil

  • ½ cup Orange Juice or 7 oz Sour Cream

  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract (optional)

  • 1 tsp Brandy (Optional)

You also need:

Canola oil spray 


  1. Preheat the oven to 350ºF

  2. Mix all the dry ingredients

  3. Mix all the wet ingredients

  4. Mix the wet ingredients with the dry ingredients

  5. Spray the mold with canola spray

  6. Pour the mix into the mold

  7. Bake for 50 minutes!
