Pumpkin Sangria

Serves 4-6

Share a pitcher of this seasonal sangria filled with flavors of pumpkin, ginger, and fresh-pressed apple juice! It’s the perfect drink to enjoy while celebrating Sukkot, the celebration of the harvest.

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup pumpkin puree

  • 3 tbsp maple syrup

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • ½ tsp fresh ginger, grated

  • ½ tsp vanilla

  • 1, 750ml bottle pinot grigio

  • 2 oz orange liqueur (cointreau)

  • 1 cup apple cider

  • 2 apples, thinly sliced

  • 2 cups sparkling water

Preparation:

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the pumpkin puree, maple syrup, cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla. 

  2. Add wine, liqueur, apple cider, and sliced apples, stir to combine.

  3. Before serving, add sparkling water.

  4. Enjoy!

Notes:

  • For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the wine for 2 cups ginger ale, and an additional cup of apple cider.
