Hide the Afikoman

The Afikoman is a piece of Matza or a 'treasure' that we hide at the beginning of the night to keep the kids engaged. Towards the end of the evening, the kids look for the Afikoman and return it in exchange for an attractive gift.

Some purchase gifts in advance, others negotiate for the return of the Afikoman at the end of the meal.

Traditionally, we hide one Afikoman, though some hide one afikoman for each kid.
