Cheesecake Art

On Shavu’ot, we enjoy feasts that feature dairy treats as a reminder of the idea that the Promised Land would be overflowing with milk and honey. From this custom, cheesecakes have become a delicious and traditional Shavu’ot treat. This year, decorate your Shavuot cheesecake like a pro with our festive holiday stencils!

Order or make your own cheesecake. Check out our easy recipe for a Honey Swirl Cheesecake with Graham Cracker Crust.

Ready For the magic?

1 Once your cheesecake is ready (make sure it is fully chilled), place a stencil on top.

For this project, a 9-inch (or larger) cheesecake works best. However, you can also use a smaller cheesecake by positioning just a portion of the stencil:

2 Then, generously sprinkle cinnamon or cocoa powder to cover the design. For best results, use a sifter. Sifters are available for purchase at most grocery stores or online.

3. Lift, slice, and serve!
