El Grito traditions

  • Party with Chiles en Nogada

    We gather and party all night with tequila and special traditional foods, specifically the green white and red delicacy - Chiles en Nogada!

  • ¡Viva México!

    Everyone gathers in the city square and the president comes out to the balcony, rings the bell and shouts the names of the ARENGA the heroes of the independence. Then the party starts, tequila!

  • Midnight Ceremony

    We present the Mexican flag and sing the national anthem during this ceremony!
